I am looking for any advice and help to link my broadband account.
I recently switched from BT to EE and was notified that my first bill was available. I followed the email link and tried to link my broadband account but each time I request a confirmation code, nothing appears. I have checked the mobile number in the account and it is accurate and can receive confirmation codes to this mobile - BUT NOT WHEN I REQUEST IT FROM THE LINKING OPTION.
Can anyone help or can an moderator take my details and check this out for me, please.

Thanks, I had read thids. As far as I know, I am still within the cancellation period for this service and may need to exercise this. Also, I am sure that a service provider is legally required to provide you with a bill. Am I right on this, does anyone know?

Well, I have managed to sort things with the help of 150 guide. It may be some sort of conflict with my email account used for BT and initially EE when switching. The guide tried switching the email account and I was able to take things from their and set things going.
However, I have lost access to the original Erskine username.

@Erskine0812 So does that mean that you have a NEW EE ID with a different e-mail address as your username?
As it was? Your BT account and your EE account were originally the same e-mail address and now they have changed it.

@JimM11Yes, the BT and original EE account used the same email address and they have now changed this to a different email address for EE for login. I had to register a new username for this community, but so long as I use the 'new' email address on EE, I can get access to my account details, including my bills. My CONTACT email in my profile, however, is still the original one shared with BT. Despite that, I am receiving notifications on the 'new' address.
Following this??? Very confusing.
In truth I have not tried again to log into the account with the first email address since things were changed and worked. I suppose I am scared it will blow up EE and then everyone will hate me. 😉
Hmm, just realise I am receiving notifications to the original email address. Weird.

@Erskine0812 Ok sent notification on your new login to the forum, and will try the other at 8pm so you can see if you get both.
They just don't make it easy, but as long as you have a handle on it, that's all that matters!!! And you can see what e-mail notifies you for either. Time now 19:47.....
