Gosh where do I start !
I called ee about 6 weeks ago to discuss the issues I was having with the broad band in a section of the house . To cut a very long story short the customer service guy suggested (even pushed me to) switch the BT fibre , stating as they were a partner company it wouldn’t be a problem at all .
I’m not going to go into the issues I’ve already had with BT here (I wish we never switched ), but my issue now is that I’ve been charged a whopping £130 ontop of my last broadband bill for switching .
thjs was never even discussed with me by ee , if I new I’d receive a charge I wouldn’t stayed .
I’ve cancelled the dd instruction as there not enough money in my account to even take this bill, while I sort this out .
do you think i can challenge this bill based on the fact that the ee customer service guy gave me a lot of mis information (there was more information he gave me as well about BT’s offer which wasn’t true as well ). ?

@Jennyjanesharp Do you have and proof of what was said to you ? And your issue of broadband in a section of the house. Do you mean you had little to no Wi-Fi signal in that part ? If you did all you needed was a Wi-Fi repeater and available for under £20 from Argos/Amazon/Curry’s etc etc

That’s a helpful bit of advice there Thankyou . The fibre has issues overall so I just need to contact bt about the install I think .
and sadly no I don’t it was a phone conversation , maybe they would hold a recording .
I’ve raised a complaint so hoping it’ll get looked into
