Can someone help please? I have 4 ports on the smart wifi router, one of which is a WAN port. So my first question is should I be using the WAN port to plug any of my ethernet cables in? I have tried and it doesn't seem to work? My second question is, I have more than 3 cables I need to plug in so can I add more ports very simply? If so can someone recommend an ethernet port extender. Very many thanks

The WAN port is not used to connect your devices but to connect the hub to the internet especially for FTTP or an FTTC modem.
You can have more LAN ports by using a network switch such as this.

Currently available from Amazon for £16.00, just click the buy now button and select Amazon.
