Will OpenReach phone me to update my ONT?

My switch from Sky 900Mbs to EE 1.6Gbs is due on Monday 27th.

I believe I have a 1Gbs ONT and that I need a 2.5Gbs one.

Pic attached of my current one (green cable) and a 2.5Gbs one shown in another thread.

Would OpenReach have my phone number from EE to ring and arrange to come and do the installation?

Thank you.

EE make all the arrangements. EE will arrange with OR to change your ONT as part of your installation on 27th Jan. OR have no need to call you other than a courtesy call to tell you they are on their way.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@bigrob   EE should be able to tell you which time window they have booked for you  8-1 or 1-6 t at least narrow the time down.

Openreach should have your contact details, but may or may not call.
