Wifi issues

I have several Smart sockets outside the house - all were working fine, they connect over 2.4GHz to Internet.

Recently they all stopped working, at a 240V level I can use them manually but they will not connect to the App.  When I try to 'Add'  device, it cannot find a device on the network

After a few days of frustration..... I unwired one socket and powered it up in the house alongside the router and connected OK .... but as soon as I move it back to the required location, it will not connect.

The outlet locations have not moved and the house & router have not moved ..... assuming my Wifi is the issue.

For connection, I have to turn off 5GHz   (common for many devices), but once the connection is made I can turn 5GHz back on and it continues to work OK.

Is there anything that I can do to increase WiFi signal strength ..... tried an EE extender, makes no difference.

I tried contacting EE support but all I get is an option to use SMS service, and it drops the call.  Can you speak to a person anymore ?

@Posiedon Will take a look once your posted pictures get cleared. Added a couple pics also so if you need to compare. I kept my sky name, had that for 20+ years lower number is best when orange you are heading weak signal.

@Posiedon Inside and outside numbers are good, not seeing the channel 6 version on your lower 1st picture, but it sure looks like your hub and extender's are close together with the numbers,

This is how the numbers go on the hub you have a 2.4Ghz and it's hidden ssid, the 5Ghz and it's hidden ssid, hidden is the backhaul wireless connection, then you also have the stupid EE WiFi 2.4/5Ghz free for anyone on EE/BT to use... To see what that is you would need to switch off the extender, see all 6 signals and the associated mac addresses with those...

The low numbers are great you could not wish for better, but seeing yours i would say you just do not need the extender at all, and would be worth trying to connect the plugs with the extender switched off, the EE-3Z7NNC is the only one you are interested in nothing else. How far is the Extender and the Hub distance wise from each other?
