@Lin28  when you change routers you need to reset the Echo Dots so they attach to the new router.

Have a look at the instructions on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GKC33PUJZTSDWQK6

Depending on the version, some seem esier than others, on earlier ones you need to put it into setup mode first before you can change anything.

Have you run the full set up process via the Alexa app.

I am already set up on alexa app from old router, but they my dots etc are not connecting wifh new router. Could it be trying to connect but takes a bit longer to go through ? It's just my mobile that has connected to wifi now.

@Lin28 : Try on the Advanced > Wireless Settings page to temporarily disable the 5 GHz WiFi band & move off the Smart channel while connecting problematic 2.4 GHz devices.
