@JNewnham1979   what is it you are trying to connect to?

Is this a new installation of broadband or are you trying to connect to something else?

just trying to connect a smart wifi plus device, to my smart hub, for the first time. they won't connect with each other...never ending blue flashing lights on the wifi plus device

the smart wifi plus goes solid red, when connected via ethernet

@JNewnham1979  which model and colour router and smart wifi device do you have.

Not all are compatible with each other.

Hmmmm. Just checked my existing smart wifi plus, and it's a SW30A model. The second one is a SW10A model, which won't connect to my SH31B Hub.

@JNewnham1979  Ah, pretty sure the SW10A only works on older hubs.

Where did you get it from? Are you able to send it back and get a SW30A?

Thanks - got it all direct from BT/EE.....so I guess I'll have to spend 2 hours on the phone again, and wait for the correct kit. Thanks for your help.
