Hello , I have recently switched over to ee from bt and as soon as I have been changed over I noticed that my old bt wifi boosters do not work anymore so I called ee to see what the problem was they tell me that they are not compatible with the ee smart hub plus I have , the bloke then told me that I could use my old bt smart hub 2 wifi to bridge to the new ee wifi so that I could carry on using my bt wifi boosters. Dose anyone know if this is possible and if they have a step by step guide on how to do this please.
(I don’t want to spend £100 on the ee boosters as I have 3 bt ones set out threw my house)
Thank you

@Paul530 there is no need to change any settings, just plug your BT router back in and reconnect the extenders.
The username and password for the broadband settings are the same on EE and BT.

Will my wifi speeds still be the same with the old router?

@Paul530 if you have gone for the same speed broadband package then yes your WiFi speeds should be the same.

The only reason i upgraded was for full fiber and faster speeds so im not sure the old router will work

Well if you tell me what you had before and have now, and which router you have I should be able to help.

My old one was the bt smart hub 2 and the new ee one is the Smart Hub Plus 👍

@Paul530 you don't mention what speeds you have chosen, but the BT SH2 is fine up to the 900Mbs service so you should be absolutely fine. Many people prefer that over the EE SH plus.
