Why can my Neighbour get Ultra Fast Fibre and I can only get Fibre

I can only get speeds of 36mbps but my neighbour who is around 15 meters away can get 900mbps. When I search using their address it brings up many more options for faster packages.

We are number 2 and they are number 10. Is this a mistake in the system that is stopping me being able to order a 900mbps package? If it is a matter of paying someone to come and install a cable, is it possible to do so?

They can get "WBC FTTP"; you can't! That's up to 100 Meg Full Fibre. It also says "FTTP is not available" on your line.

What does that table say when you use the Phone No. Checker rather than the Address Checker?

This is using the telephone number instead. The same I think?

From Openreach... work in the coming months for October 2024 availability!!! That is so far away :

I’ve looked into your enquiry and the great news is that we will have some fantastic connectivity options for your home. I can see the equipment you’re connected to is getting an upgrade. This will give you the option of ordering fibre to the premises.

Our engineering work will take place in the upcoming months and if everything goes to the plan then you will be able to get FTTP by the end of October, 2024. I’m sorry we can’t give you a more specific date at this time but once the work is completed you’ll be able to place an order with your chosen service provider.

Further in response to your query regarding neighbours getting FTTP service, we have checked our records for the neighbour and those who are getting FTTP service they are connected via different distribution point due to which we won't be able to provide FTTP service for your premises.

I did speak to an engineer outside my house the other day who said it should be available for me to get Ultra Fast Fibre based on what he saw in the box / what he had installed.

Does anybody have anymore information as to why this might be the case or if there is any way for me to speed up the process?

Only OR knows. It's all down to them. If they say that your line is connected to an distribution point which is not yet FTTP enabled & won't be until Oct. 24, that must be the case.
