When wired pc is on, other devices suffer

Hi all, I have the 1.6 gb full fiber package with the new WiFi 7 pro hub and the extender. My PC is wired directly to the hub via Ethernet. When I turn my pc on, not even downloading anything other devices connected via WiFi suffer / lag / connection issues. The extender flashes as if it’s lost connection also. Any ideas why this would be?

@Fewzy Have you looked at the PC Network activity you can see it either task manager or the resource monitor if a windows style PC!

Yea ive looked at everything. My pc will be using less than 7-10mbps while idling. It’s as if when my pc is on it’s taking the potential speed away from everything else while not using that speed if that makes sense.

@Fewzy On the EE SmartPro Router itself, can you say and explain what you have connected to it by Ethernet connection, is it just the PC and the wan connections only.

Your Smart Wireless extender is it just connected as a pure wireless wifi mesh unit, and have you tried just shutting it down when everything else is connected as a Temp test to see what is going on network wise, in case you have the PC sending/receiving to the mesh unit.

Also very important on your PC is it Ethernet and Wireless capable, if it is both then be 100% sure to turn the wireless OFF when Ethernet connecting the device!
