When to install new router

I'm upgrading ee broadband next week.  I've received the new router. Do I install it straightaway or do I have to do it when the upgrade happens? Thanks

It depends on what upgrade you are having, and what router you have now and what the new one is.

 

If your upgrade continues to use your phone line, you could install the new router now.

However, if you are getting a new Full Fibre install you may want to wait until that is complete.
