This is probably going to a fairly niche issue but i have discovered thay i am unable to access a specifc website by either my mobile phone or home braodband. The website is www.darkhorizons.com.
There is nothing remotely controvercial about it as it is a movie review and news site.
I have tried various incarnations of the address including http:// https:// but it doesnt work. I know the issue is specific to the EE service because i have a dual sim on my phone and the other service doesnt have an issue with this site. Additionally, i have signed up to NordVPN and i can access the site via any UK based VPN without issue.
I have also ruled out any issue with my router because i have switched off the wifi on my phone on the EE sim.
Can anyone explain why this is happening?

I have no trouble getting there over EE Home BB, but the site is rather hesitant..

I'm seeing DNS issues to that site using the default EE DNS servers, which would tie in with the problem only being experienced on EE. Google DNS servers resolve the domain OK at this time.
That would explain why other providers might be getting to the site OK because they will be using their own DNS servers or maybe those of the likes of Google as I did in my test.
Also, if EE users have reconfigured their hubs to use (say) the Google DNS servers instead of the default EE ones which anyone can do, they wont be seeing the fault.
It will likely sort itself out.

I am having trouble accessing the router on my PC - I need tocheck the setting because recently I have to connect my tv to the internet manually - which is now not working-
also I cannot access my my EE mobile app
very frustrating as after a full day at work I just want to settle down
I have been trying now for over an hour!!

@dee1210 : Login to your EE Smart Hub/Router at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router. Then on the Advanced > Advanced Wireless page you should be able to see your WiFi SSID & password in clear & change it if you like.

@soupladel Perfect access via vodaphone no issues, DNS on router is to google if that helps you.
IP if you need it. https://103.242.248.66 to the site aus.darkhorizons.com

@soupladel I've noticed the DNS is now resolving correctly on the EE DNS servers and I can now get to the service OK, so as I expected, whatever the DNS fault was has sorted itself.
