So I've recently upgraded to WIFI 7 and I have 2 PS5's in the house both wired straight to the router. Both PS5's on the newest Call of Duty have a Moderate NAT Type.
I've tried port forwarding but that doesn't seem to fix the issue for one device as you can't do the same port forwarding for one device.
I then thought I'd try as a test to put one device in the DMZ and even that doesn't change it to Open despite DMZ opening every single port...
So I'm starting to wonder whether the EE Firmware just doesn't work...
Can anyone help me?
Both PS5's are Wired with Static IP's

On Xbox there is an option to test Nat type, which if you run it a couple of times will change your Nat type to open. I don’t have a ps5 so can’t comment but wondered if there’s a similar test available on the PS?

Problem is that on Xbox - testing NAT until it resolves from moderate to open only works until you load up CoD. The moment you do the communication with the servers essentially locks it back to moderate. I've honestly never come across such a shockingly inappropriate set of circumstances. Engaging DMZ - no good. Port Forwarding - no good. Pinholes - no good. Static IP address to facilitate the above: no good. No router for the home should struggle with UPNP. None.
Gaming is hardly a pastime enjoyed by a few hundred: it is now the most profitable mass entertainment there is. That EE still haven't fixed this despite the numerous threads I've read on the issue is quite something.
