WAN lead. Is it okay to use a longer lead on a full broadband hub WAN port?

Please would you advise. I would like to position my full broadband hub further from where the fibre enters the house. Is the WAN lead with the red ends a special lead or just a LAN lead with red ends? Would it be okay to use a 10m CAT8 lead for the WAN port?

Nowt special, just coloured red. You can use any CAT 5e or above Ethernet cable for up to 100m w/out any loss of speed.
