So I'm a year in to my 2 year full fibre 500 contract, and I've just seen the same contract on the website for ELEVEN POUNDS a month cheaper, despite my contract apparently being a retention offer.
I'm a long time customer of both mobile and broadband and was just wondering what the community on the whole thinks of this, what they are paying for the same service and who in the EE chain of customer service I should call in order to engage in meaningful discourse.
Has anyone else had this issue and managed a satisfactory outcome?

Prices change all the time, you pay what you agreed at the time you took out the contract. Unless you're out of contract then there is not much you can do same as any fixed time contract.
Thanks

@mattiestewart the same thing happens with many services these days, it is up to the customer to get the best deal they can at the start of any new contract.
Various events throughout the year can mean that prices can be reduced, winter/spring/summer sales or Amazon Prime days and Black Friday to name a few.
Just time your renewal if you can, but make sure you get the best deal you can. It also helps to remember if you don't ask......
