@Pennaka  You need a phone that plugs in to the router as it’s now digital not analog.   The ring doorbell will work as it connects via 2.4Ghz and the router you have gives off 2.4 and 5Ghz.  So you need to set it up from scratch after you have factory reset it.
Smart WiFi is when you have the smart WiFi 2nd hub that creates a mesh network within your home and your device can transfer from one hub to the 2nd hub seamlessly that is you require a 2nd hub to get the WiFi connection further within your home.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Pennaka Can confirm Ring Doorbell2 does function through the EE Router although i do use mine via powerline as to far away from router signal wi-fi, ring camera good also but through same powerline. There is one model that has 5ghz so you may have to check out ring help to see which one does, turn the 5ghz band of while trying to connect the ring if you are having issues then see if it connects, remember to put it back on once you have it sorted.

Thank you I will try that on Monday.  You sound very knowledgeable
