Transfer from BT

I was transferred automatically from BT to EE for broadband.  I was a fairly new customer to BT and was paying 29.99 per month. BT informed me my bill would remain the same however I have been charged monthly £32.99.

I think your Complaints code of Practice iink is pointing to an old version of the complaints code (the text says 2017 although the PDF file has a name implying 2018.)

https://ee.co.uk/content/dam/ee-help/help-pdfs/complaints-code-of-practice-april-2018.pdf

the version from 2024 obtained from the link on the EE regulatory page

https://ee.co.uk/regulatory

which implies latest version is

Hi @Rpatterson so did EE start a new minimum term (2 year contract)  broadband contract when they moved you from BT. Also did you take up a new EETV contract upon moving or subsequently as new EETV contracts are normally for 24 month minimum term and as they rely upon broadband normally extend the broadband minimum term for the same period. Either way you should get clear notification of the contract terms ?
