EE does allow the use of 3rd-party routers. However they may only investigate any issues until you put the supplied EE router back. In Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you'll find everything you need to set up your router incl. the BB PPPoE creds. which are now the same as BT's.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@truewraith66666   which broadband service do you have, is it via an ONT or your phone line? Is it live yet?

What model is your TP Link?

Full fibre gig 700mb EE and my smart hub 2 is faulty and I'm waiting for new one but acquired a third party one called to link AXE5400

that should work OK, I would check the other settings, but maybe it is not the router that is faulty..

How is the ONT, are the right lights on?

Is that the white open reach box. If so 3 green lights.

I can't work out what is blocking it lol

@truewraith66666 You are using the settings in the ipV4 setup and not for ipV6?

@truewraith66666  if you can post a pic of the WAN setup page, maybe we can spot something.

But do remember the fault may not be the router.
