I am trying to take out a new broadband and TV contract and have spent more than 6 hours over 6 days to try and do this but everytime I call there seems to be an issue on my account that needs to be sorted before a new contract is taken out and everytime I’m promised that it will be sorted within 24 hours and someone will call me. It never is and no one ever does. My problem started when I had taken out a new contract and then cancelled within 14 days to take advantage of Black Friday offers but the order cancellation got stuck and 2 days later it was still”pending” but no one had followed it up. Now apparently there is a problem with my email address on the account. I have spoken to several people who transfer me to other departments but no one takes ownership. Terrible customer service. Is there any way of complaining other than through the “guides” on 150 who don’t seem interested.

You can make a formal complaint to EE & if you don't get satisfaction after 8 weeks you can take it to EE's ADR provider. See Complaints code of practice and here is the Complaints Form .
