I have the latest EE Router.
I'd really like to know the technical specs.
Specifically the number of antennae on each band and the dbi.
Does anyone have this or could they point me at somewhere?
Thanks

Thanks but Mr Google gave me exactly the same as it did you! Unable to find the figures I need.

Well, I found several review sites saying it had 7 aerials but not what flavours.

Yeh, I'd be interested to see the full spec too as I'm currently about to go from EE standard ADSL to Fibre plus in a couple of days and have just been sent the smart router myself, together with a text from 'Openreach on behalf of EE' who are asking me to make sure it's plugged in in time. I'm on a Bright Box 2 still however, very happy with it and understand it is fibre capable so unless there's any major benefit to it, I'll probably stick with it at least for now.
I distinctly remember not wanting to upgrade to the smart hub when I had the opportunity as I found the BB2 was a more flexible router, in how it lets you run multiple SSIDs.
Still, it'd be good to have the specs side by side to compare properly. It's nuts, I can find loads of quick start guides but no full and proper user manuals. I think I may have had one way back for the old Bright Box 1 but I'm not sure.

@MBEE : The Brightbox 2 is functionally far stronger the than the EE Smart Hubs/Routers, like multiple SSIDs, VLANs & guest networks and better Access Control. I should stick with it. I have!
You sure you've been sent the white Smart Router& not the black Smart Hub? The latter is usual for EE Fibre.

hi guys, i worked as a technician for more years than i care to remember... 😝
usually, the company who manufacturers the router will have full technical specs (big companies even supply downloadable pdfs in some cases).
so... if you have access to one of these routers (or someone can post a pic of it) you will find the manufacturer's name (usually on the bottom). its usually a label of some variety...
so...once you have the company (make) and model of the unit, you should be able to do a better "google search", or at least be able to contact the company direct (email is cheapest) for full technical specs...
have a great summer 🌞
kind regards, OldSchoolTech

Yep, that is a very good shout...
Arcadyan manufactured the BB2 and their logo is on the back of mine; nothing on the Smart router that I can see, save for the model number.

Lucky me!
Maybe they're getting shot of some stock in the build up to this?! :
