Switching from BT Full Fibre 900 + Halo 3 to EE Full Fibre Gigabit All Rounder

Should have researched this before activating today but here goes (apologies if foolish questions):

Switching from BT Full Fibre 900 to EE 900 Mbps up /110 Mbps down-  identical to existing BT speed

Does the new EE fibre service work with the existing ONT (currently Nokia-ONT G-010G-Q Openreach) or do you have to swap for a new EE-compatible one. (I'm guessing the  Nokia stays)

Does the existing BT Smart Hub 2 have to be replaced with whatever the EE offering is, Smarthub Plus I think (I'm guessing this does need to be swapped) or will the BT SH2 work as before?

If the BT SH2 has to be replaced how do the existing BT digital voice phones in the house connect to the new EE Smarthub Plus router?

*Extra info: Not interested in wifi or any features of the vendor router provided - it just links to my home switch and hardwired access points. Currently only using the BT SH2 for accessing/logging in to their fibre network and digital voice.

@carlito000 Link below explains the EE All Rounder plan. Nokia ONT is good to 1Gb/s interface, so no need to change. BT Smarthub2 works on the EE service, issue at present is the EE app, see how your MyBT app still works after the change, what you can and cannot do with it etc, DO NOT try the EE app until your MyBT app starts to miss function. Now EE deem that the the BT router is good enough so it's one off those you may or may not get one, you will see that in the link below. The EE Smarthub+ has a voice port for DV just like the BT router, If you do get a new EE and have BT DV advanced phones etc, then you need to save your contacts from the BT before anything else, the EE allows for import, but there is absolutely NO export funtion in the router, NO DDNS also, they are NOT like for like. If you are using DDNS consider carefully before deciding what you wish to do. Phones are connected by wps mode, there is a short video in the Digital Home Phone section of Home Services above. HTH

As you are really only using the BT router for voice, stay with it.....

@carlito000  everything you have now works on EE, no change of ONT and some prefer the BT router, especially if you don't need the extra WiFi speed of the EE Router.

However, BT will want their equipment back, so you may need to speak to someone to make the messages to return stuff stop.
