Hi, so we recently binned off BT as the cost was stupidly high and switched to EE on the 900mb fibre on the new super hub.
I cant get any of the 4k firesticks to work. it connects but then says not network even though when you run the network test it come back with it being connected.
The Alex;s wont connect.
Smart plugs wont connect.
Pc and Laptop have issues,
Smart cameras wont work either.
I've tried the compatibility mode then everything just crashes. Currently I'm having to tether to get the firesticks to work. Anyone got any suggestions before I launch the router out the window?

@lhammond Looks like you have to call EE CS tomorrow and see what they say, take it nothing at all has changed your end, same hub same everything just you are now on EE instead of BT?

Nothing changed at all. BT sold out to EE and this week the connection on the firestick has crashed out. Have been through every troubleshooting test imagineable. No other devices are a problem, just the firestick. Will just have to see if EE CS can sort it. Maybe it was a firmware update that did it?

Having the exact same issue here. Some devices are ok, others are not.

I did this and it did sort some devices but not others. Not really sure what else to do with this now. You try and call ee and it's all automated bot which is a complete pain in the **bleep**. Wish I had stayed with what I had now as even though it was more.money at least it actually worked.

@Zane79 Have you just tried the text GUIDE to 66033, that prompts EE to call you back?

I didn't know that was a thing. I will try that tomorrow

@Zane79 Yes on the new system there is also HELP get's EE to check the BB connection, PHONE to check that and a few others... All to the same 66033 text number, and assumes that the mobile does send it etc....
When they call you back it normally display's as EE or BT Guide calling in the mobile display.

The connection is all good as half of the devices work. Infact when you run a speed test on the firestick it's fine but then nothing will load even though I've factory reset. It's just so annoying.
Some apps won't load on the WiFi so im currently just teathering firesticks so I can watch stuff
