Swap BT to EE

We swapped over from BT to EE Thursday. All equipment set up, which was actually pain free using the app. My only issue is the Phone we have which was connected to the old BT hub. We have pay as you go with EE, same as we had with BT. How do I pair it, or do BT swap the number over to EE?

Sorry Jim, i didn't watch all the video like a numpty. As it was the old style router, now I've watched it, we are all paired up. Phones working. We didn't have much stored as it was just 'there' for use.

Cheers for your help, much appreciated.

@Ciborg23 If you are talking about the DV landline, then and if you have a new EE hub it plugs into the back of it, and if BT have moved you right they will have moved you landline also. No guarantees that it all happened as planned!

Plug the phone in and see, no dial tone? will link the setup video.

Our current BT phones have no way of plugging anything in as they are Voip phones, which were supplied with our old BT contract.

When we ring the number from a mobile it rings but the phones don't as they're not connected to anything.

@Ciborg23 Did you watch the video, have them paired to the dect system in the hub, the ring option is all to do with the phones and they should do it, if you call from your mobile does the phone indicate a call coming in on the display apart from not ringing!

If you are NOT aware, then swapping to the EE Router from the BT Smarthub2 that you have then ALL of your contact information is going to disappear, the calling, logging and the stored numbers are all on the ROUTER no where else! So be careful. Nothing wrong with the old BT Router it was very good!  Link to the BT Manual below!
