I am an early taker of Next Gen at 1.6Gb. When am I going to have access to a router that allows me to have wired connections at that speed. What is the point of selling a 1.6Gb service with a router that only supports 1Gb wired connections. It is impossible for me to have a wired connection at my guaranteed speed (1.3Gb) let alone my actual service speed (1.6Gb)

@Norvic When you say that you are an early taker, what do you mean time scale wise, The lan interface on the current range is still only 1Gb/s and currently is no further forward at this point, the service and although single line wired does let it down, combined will get there no issue and has been proven to do so. Not what you want to hear!

As far as I am aware, an updated Smart Hub with 2.5Gb LAN ports has been about to launch since 2023 but has not yet made it.

Yes you are right. The much awaited 2.5Gb LAN port Smart Hub has yet to be sighted other than in a watchful press. Had hoped that EE might have cared to add an update but sadly not.
