Smart Hub Plus with Wi-fi issues

I'm having the same issues, had 2 engineer s out can't find anything wrong but ee have said my speeds are slow, I have just got off the phone with ee and have admitted there is a known problem with the smart hub 2 and are apparently trying to fix it. I was advised to stay and don't leave until they can fix it, but they said as the know about the issues that I can leave no questions asked. Hopefully this might help people just call and tell them if you are experiencing slow wifi, devices not connecting and wifi 6 not working.

@Monkey4899 : The EE Smart Hub 2 only supports WiFi-5. You must have a Smart Hub Plus to be able to use WiFi-6.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Thanks for the response, 👍Everytime I've spoken to ee they have said that smart hub 2 is wifi 6, I will be asking them to confirm and asking them to listen back telephone conversations , they have tried to fob me off every time, I'm sick of it

@Monkey4899 : Are you sure it's an EE Smart Hub 2? Post a pix to confirm.

this is the highest speed result I've had on wifi at 1 foot away from hub and I'm supposed to be on full fiber 900🤔

That's a Smart Hub Plus. The label on the bottom will say "Smart Hub SH31B".
