I recently upgraded to EE full Fibre and got the new Smart Hub Plus. The person on the phone was 100% certain my white EE wifi extender discs will be compatible with the new Hub plus.
I've tried everything and they won't connect at all.
Before I post this Hub back and cancel my service all together, are they actually compatible?

@Mreed01 There are different versions of hubs and extenders, so could you post the model numbers from the labels on the router and extenders?

To add to @XRaySpeX you should be getting the EE Smart WiFi Plus to go with the Smart Hub Plus.
If only for Wifi6...

This seems to be a mis-selling technique used to push FTTH as I’ve just encountered the same issue 🤬

@Butts55 You got an update to the latest EE Router, but not to any smart wi-fi added devices that you had?

Smart hub plus router. Like OP, told BT WiFi disc (black)would work with it at point of sale. Wouldn’t have signed up if I’d known as my home office is now U/S.
Seems to be a running theme of the sales team.

@Butts55 Does seem to be that way with regards to the extender's as you say, when you had the BT black disk's were the BT supplied and to be returned, and as some EE packages do include the EE smart wi-fi extenders did you not get put on that package again to include replacement EE type smart wi-fi. Or did you purchase the black disk's your self?
