Anybody else still sitting at  r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 from last year? Seen all the updated firmwares getting applied (although some a bit iffy) , just curious if anybody else is still waiting?

It's quite bad that these hubs aren't getting updated regularly. There have been a bunch of vulnerabilities in older versions of OpenWrt that these are based on.

Tempted to buy a Flint 2 and install native OpenWRT on it.

@ILikeCoffee Go for it buy your own and setup the best way and the best operating system that it will support.

I appear to be on r3.8.26-R-1595999-PROD-1 with my 7pro

EE / BTTV user since BT Vision - EE FTTC (Smart Hub 7 Pro), EE TV (Apple TV).
Starlink for a backup.

@widdowsonben Looking likely that is were you will be staying then currently.

Yeh. Not sure what advantage the newer FW brings other than security? It’s a bit overkill here anyway as I’m stuck on a fttc line.

@widdowsonben An FTTC line with a 7 Pro Hub, so you must have an old VDSL modem in front of your Pro connection?

See from your earlier post's waiting on OR getting there act together for a FTTP connection, good news in my case anyway FTTP works well, now been on EE to Sky to Vodafone and no issues Fibre wise with any connection that way.

Yeh it sits behind an Openreach modem. No chance of Fttp here for the meantime so stuck with this setup.
