Spotted this this morning. Looks like an upgraded version of the Smart Hub Plus is on it's way

This version has one  2.5GB Lan port in addition to three 1GB Lan ports

Not really true - stud walls have horizontal noggins at regular intervals, so it's not just a case of feeding a cable vertically downwards between two upright timbers. To make it "easy" you have to cut away plasterboard...so then you need a plasterer to make good as well as a network guy to run the cables and make the connections to RJ45 boxes. All DIY stuff but do you really want the bother? Cheaper and easier to upgrade WiFi  capabilities in many cases I'd say.
