Smart Hub 7 Plus Port Forwarding Issue

Hi All,

Another Issue with the Hub 7 Plus, probably on others too.

When i create a Port forwarding rule, it always comes up with an error and doesn't save or eventually when it does save, it has created duplicate rules. Try to remove one and it removes both, aaarrrgghh! These EE hub are very frustrating.

I hope someone who can help sees this and my other post, to help fix these issues.

I had exactly same problem as you months ago until i got the above firmware update

Hi, looking different to mine. I only unplugged my router last week, swapping back to Hub 2.  Looks like they have done another update, as this is mine.

Then you need to get it updated. Mine updated months ago

That's almost certainly your problem

@Pecbeck Seen your message so you are not blocked, and correct about the FW version.

@SamyM As from your posting earlier you have had multiple EE Hubs sent to you, and you are reporting yes you had an update, now your screen capture is showing one version back, leave the hub on at let it do a FW update to the latest, once done power it off for 5 minutes and restart again.

I recall I may have had to perform factory reset after my update, but it was a while back so @SamyM I would probably do a factory reset once you confirm hub has updated to the latest as mentioned above

Hi, My router seems to have updated to r3.35.23-R-1648107-PROD-84001 but it seems to need to do another update to get to r3.35.24-R-1648110-PROD-84001 from previous communications. I will leave it overnight and see what happens.
