Smart Extenders

Morning All Im after a little bit of help please

I have an EE Smart Wifi Hub, and Smart Wifi Extenders

All my extenders are currently wired back to my hub and working fine (everything in my house is working), some of the extenders I originally paired with WPS and some with a cable.

So why cant I see any of them in my router web interface ?

And the EE app doesn’t see them, and the EE Home app wont connect to my router interface

@RichardB123 If you look in advanced wireless, and then on the extenders tab do you see anything different, does not help that you crop your posted pic with no viewable or helpful information.

I seem to have the same issue (and Im running my own dhcp server and pihole)  but Ive taken those out of the equation, done a factory reset on the hub and started again  - still cant see the extenders in the web interface or on the app.

its only showing the hub in there.

Ive been through the add device, its paired fine and works just not showing....

@RichardB123 Can you look at the bottom of each device on the labels and post up what you read, that way we can be sure that you have devices that match and operate together! They will be SH for the Router and SW for the extenders, you can fill in the rest....

Edit:, Link below to an OP post with a PICTURE that is seen on his system.

Smart Wifi Extender shows not connected - but has Blue Light? - The EE Community

the extenders are sw30a

and the hub is sh32b

The all work, I was sat in the garden office earlier next to the wifi extender with a perfect signal I just cant seem them in the EE app or through the web interface.

@RichardB123 From the link example i posted up, nothing looks like that? Your devices are all good, matching system, web interface leaves a lot to be desired for showing what is going on, there is an impending FW update for the Router, would assume it also runs up the extenders as well, you just never know it may just help to display correctly. Will post up as soon as it hits my router, Asus AI mesh user so can only go with what is posted and talked about. (App and chocolate fireguard) is my thought completely on that subject but it does function the bits that i see!

Post that image with whole page uncropped at the bottom.

The EE Home app is only intended for the white EE Smart Router. It does not work with the latest black EE Smart Hub Plus which is handled by the EE app under Manage WiFi Controls.

@RichardB123 - If you're using an external DHCP server then worth having a read of this thread.

My Smart Hub Pro doesn't exhibit this problem, so hopefully something that will be addressed for the Smart Hub Plus in a future software update.
