Smart Wifi Extender shows not connected - but has Blue Light?

Battling with this extender - has a blue light but shows no devices? and shows not connected to Hub on the AppMy concern is it is just dormant and not really effective - I have reset and re-connected multiple times - any ideas?

Other extender is fine - although in the app also says not connected! - App isnt great is it... very clunky

@Mark_D Are you doing all of this through the app? Is there any difference if looked at on the web manager?

Hey - no pretty much the same result - 0 devices

@Mark_D And if you power of the known good smart wireless device, does anything show, but more important are any devices connected and working, obvious you have to get outside the range of the Router ssid to test that!

The interface web/app can be somewhat lacking in truly showing what is going on!

ok - sounds like a creative option to see if it changes anything....will report back!

Have you tried connecting the extender directly to the hub with an Ethernet cable.

And once it’s showing as connected within the hub manager, remove the cable and move the extender to where you would like it. 

No but will try!  Let's see how we go...
