Changing to EE/BT from BT havent received a hub only a home adapter

Please can someone help. I've just been changed over from BT landline and broadband to EE landline and Broadband, or at least I should have been.  Apparently the system is ready, So they have cut off my previous landline.  Howver I have not received the hub just a home adapter.  Is it possible to get the phones up and running with this but without the hub?  When I look at the order the only item listed is the adapter.  Is there a telephone number to ring to find out what is going on?  Any help would be appreciated.  A landline is important as mobile signals here are very poor especially EE!

Is it possible they expect you to continue using your BT router?

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP
I wasn't told that this would be the case but you may be correct. I have
received a bag and various messages saying they are expecting me to send
things back so I presume not.

The trouble is I don't have any support numbers to ring and without a
landline it is going to be very difficult to ring and ask them.
Thanks for replying.

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig.

Hi @Buster999,

Welcome to the EE Community

Has your broadband went live today? Did you still have your router you were using with BT and does that work when plugged in?

If you have not already please reach out to our broadband team by calling 150 from an EE mobile or 0330 123 1105 from any phone so our team can take a look into your order and the hub not arriving.

Hi had same problem. used phone number given in post below. Chap told me to take phone cable out of box at entry to dwelling and plug in to my BT router in the green slot on the back of router. It worked it might be the same for you.. Good luck.
