Silly question about ont

My contract with utility warehouse ends on the 26th June but bt can't come out till 7th June but I already have a white bt box in flat do they need to change it as not looking forward to a week or so without Internet

Welcome to the community,

If you already have the ONT and not the old style box, then no, they will not need to change it, it depends whether you are already on full fibre or not. What type of box do you have?

Not unless you are switching from sub 1 Gig Full Fibre to 1.6 Gig Full Fibre.

@Darksmurf72 Are you Ultra/Ultra Plus or Full Fibre with UW currently, and what about a landline phone, do you have one presently? 7th July i assume you mean, is this for the changeover or for OR Openreach to do anything.
