Remote bell for phone

Recently joined EE, broadband and phone working fine.

Prior to EE we had a remote bell that could be heard every where in the house.

This did not work with the new system, thought it would not be missed but it is, we have missed some calls as the handset bells are not loud enough. I have no idea how the remote bell is connected as it was installed before we moved in.

Question. How to we get a loud remote bell to work with EE?

Hi

A handset is plugged into the router.

I have been looking for a Wi Fi bell that will connect to the router, no success so far.

@severnside39   it should be easy enough to wire the bell back into the router phone socket.

Are you able to find a local telecom tech, they used to advertise their services in local shops or papers?

Sorted. Just remembered that I have a spare remote wi fi socket that came with the router. Plugged the bell into that.
