Recent changes for using own modem/router?

Hi,

until yesterday I successfully used my own modem (DrayTek Vigor 130) and router (Asus  RT-AC86U).
However, for no apparent reason it stopped working as of yesterday. Modem and router seemed to work fine
(no issues indicated by LEDs or something similar), but without providing a functioning internet connection. I checked cables, etc. All seem fine.

Did EE change any of their internal settings that effects on how to use own modem/router?

Thanks and kind regards

The configured MTU is 1492 and MRU is 1492. Does this sound okay?

Concur with @XRaySpeX : it should be fine. I would have suggested you try lowering it in small -10 increments had you still been experiencing problems to see if it helped.

Btw, I was not able to access the web interface of the Draytek 130 modem. I tried the typical addresses like 192.168..., but
no luck. Doesn't it listen to any ip address if it is configured in bridge mode?

If the Draytek is in pure modem-only mode, then it will have pretty much all of it's routing functionality disabled. It is probably still possible to access the web interface, however you would likely need to manually configure the network adapter properties of the device you want to connect from i.e. configure a fixed IP and assign the Draytek's IP as the default gateway. You would then cable the device directly to a LAN port on the Draytek, check whatever you need to, and revert everything once you're done.
