I am expecting an installation of fiber next week, and I was expecting a router.

To my surprise I received only 1 cable? Is this company a joke or something?

Even the other bt hub  2 with non fiber internet I bought it from Ebay as the useless bt never sent one!!

They are good at slamming charges and short delivering. Where is the WiFi 7 router ee (in capital letters) claim?

Have you experienced a similar shoddy service?

Is this a new installation or an upgrade from another BT/EE service? What speed service are you moving to and what hub are you currently using?

I think there are some upgrade paths where you retain your existing hub and get sent an additional Cat-5e cable for the fibre ONT connection.

@AbEljidi It is JUST not automatic that you will get a wifi 7 Hub sent so you are aware, BT one is more than likely good enough for what you are doing as it support's it all VDSL/Full Fibre connections and Digital Voice all rolled into one!

@AbEljidi , that is exactly what happened to me, and I had no smart hub, but a Netgear one, which was told would work, but did not, so ordered a new Netgear hub and also got a new smart hub from EE, when I spoke to them, so now have a reserve when I have a problem and EE need to do checks and want their smart hub up and running to do so. I actually only had the very old Orange router, which has not been used in years and when I once thought I had a problem, they still did the check with my Netgear router, as the Orange one was completely obsolete.
