I am in the same situation.
Yesterday 900mbps was installed and router not come because was send used ROYAL MAIL.
So i using my own router with login and password from old fibre EE router. But i am not happy because on begin speed was over 900mb/100mb (dl/ul) and from 10am is just 40/10

And it happened after midnight after 7 days only:
I am lucky as not sended back my mobile broadband router.
Fault reported. Engineer come in monday 😤

After engineer come he found in this grey box outside home fault (coused by frozen -9).
Was some kind of plastic with metal around which slope from clamp... Or something like this 🙂
Anyway is OK now 🙂
