I've tried a couple of wifi range extender with alleged capabilities of 1200 maps. Reality is only getting around 8mbps. Are there EE settings that block 3rd party extenders/repeaters? Are there settings i should change in main router? Both repeaters I've tried get full strength input from EE router but both have failed to send out decent signal! Any guidance appreciated

@Edgy7 Link if you need some reading for wireless N, 5Ghz band and a 2x2 device required to get up to the 300Mb/s speed
Standard is around 70Mb/s normally.

Interestingly, 2 days after I declined EE's offer of a new contract including Mesh (I told them I already had my own network) my network stopped working. Coincidence they said. I bought a new network - still doesn't work. I suspect foul play!

@Chipstick And what is your hub showing to you, if you need EE CS to take a look, then HELP to 66033 and have them test your connection, your mesh is irrelevant and if you are using your own hub this may be the cause for the connection problem!
