Problem with E router and Moto G60S phone

Hi, Just had EE broadband 900MBPS installed with Smarthub 7 plus and mostly working fine. All except a Moto G60s phone on Android 12 (newest it can run) that can't see the wifi network and obviously cannot connect to it. Also, no other local networks show up as available, that is until I turn off the wifi on the router and reboot the phone. Then all the local networks are shown - until I turn on the router wifi and then all the networks are gone and the phone becomes unresponsive and sometimes goes into a boot loop. I have connected to another network at another location and all works fine (not EE).  I have reset wifi on the phone, reset everything to factory, tried turning off some bands of wifi, but it still seems to destroy the phone wifi capability when EE wifi is turned on. Also configured my old router as an access point and it connects, but no use as when EE wifi is back on the network is no longer visible. A much older Moto G7 connects fine as do several other phones and all of my other devices. There is clearly something not happening with the flavour of wifi being output, but I would like to know if it can be resolved or if the phone has to be replaced.

Anthony input on the cause and possible fixes welcome. Thanks.

@reznikk Simplest solution may be to just switch out the hub, not everything is compatible and wifi 7 may not be the way to go on the EE Smart Hub 7 Plus.

@reznikk This link may also throw some light on your google plight, not sure if you seen the pinned post. So linked it below.

Google Pixel 8 WiFi issues? - The EE Community

HI, I had tried using 2.4ghz, 5ghz and compatible mode, but none of them allow the phone to connect. Given the age of the phone I would be better off replacing it than buying a new router, when the only thing having an issue is the phone. I have left wifi off for a few weeks now and the battery use seems normal, so I have left it alone while it is working enough.

Thanks for this - at least I know it isn't only me having a problem. I have a Pixel 7a and it connects fine. Also a much older Moto G7s connects without issue too, although not compatible with my phone supplier anymore.
