Port a landline number from BT to my EE landline

Pulling my hair out trying to get this sorted!

I have a BT landline. Due to my husbands work, we also had a 2nd line that was used for our broadband. That second line was transferred to EE a couple of years ago, for broadband only and we continued to maintain a BT landline separately.

A few weeks ago, we upgraded our EE broadband line and now have a digital phone line as part of that contract.

I want to bring my BT landline number over onto my EE contract. SO this is not a house move, this is not a new sale; its not fitting into any of the Help topics listed (either for EE or BT) I managed to Chat online with someone last week and thought I had this sorted until he asked for the PAC code of my MOBILE number!

Can anyone advise which route to take to solve this or what the right words are to be able to trigger the correct bot on the help?

Thanks

@Frin108 Text HELP to 66033 and have EE or BT guide call you back and explain, you wish to port the landline number over to your EE contract to replace the current EE landline number, AND have the BT Number and line disconnected. Once that is gone, you may not EVER get it back so just be 100% aware of that fact....

Note:- Just be aware that you are putting all your eggs in the DV Internet basket, and it has the potential for it all to go wrong!
