Poor EE

My EE smart hub recently developed a fault which I reported on Saturday. The operative told me a new hub would be dispatched to me on 48 hour delivery but the order wouldnt go through till Monday. I received a text saying I would be notified when the hub was dispatched. Having heard nothing on Tuesday evening I rang EE for an update. I was told there are no hubs in stock to be dispatched (in the whole of the UK!!!) They said we will send it out to you when we get some in. They are unable to give an estimated time when this will happen. So no TV and no Internet until God knows. Operative was unhelpful and blunt and didn't seem to care thar we were paying for a service we were not receiving. When Will the new hub be sent. I can't lie really disappointed with EE and I find it hard to believe for a company this size there are no products available at all. What on earth is going on???

@JimboCowan1 : For just such an event it is always useful to have a spare router available. Otherwise you're up the creek.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@JimboCowan1  whilst disappointing it is not the end of the world  New routers are easily available in your nearest Currys or even Argos and Amazon will get you one in less than 24 hours. Also mobile broadband is available a a substitute should you want. And if you play your cards right you may even get EE to provide either.
