I notice my EE smart router doesn't respond to pings to it's external interface from the Internet - is there some way to change this?

BT have never allowed their hubs to respond to ICMP (ping) requests as they consider it a security issue.
Convieniently it also stops you from running a ThinkBB Quality Meter with the hub.

Yes - that's exactly what I wanted to do.
I was previously with Sky and the ThinkBB monitor was very useful in getting them to resolve some intermittent performance issues.

@_jg_ if you know what you are doing, putting a non editable device in the DMZ will get your TBB graphs back again, as will a third party router.
