I recently upgraded to ee fibre max 100 from 1 of the slower packages but i dont seem to be getting speeds much faster than before. Im sure i read on ee's website that when this is installed a engineer has to come and change the wiring to the flat and install a openreach modem but on the day of the engineers visit he never came to the building, just went to the exchange cabinet and change the service over in there. I feeling that is not right. Does anyone know on here what should of been done?

Hi @Chrisjh83 and welcome to the forum.
What you describe would be if you were swapping from FTTC to FTTP.
However, EE can in some places provide that product over FTTC hence no change needed in your property. A service called G Fast is used.
To find out a little more if you could post the details from the technical log in the advanced section of the router interface, or the results when you enter your phone number in the BTW DSL checker. https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
Make sure you hide any personal details such as the phone number.

Welcome to EE's Home Broadband Forum.
The eng. only visits your home to install a ONT modem if you have ordered Full Fibre Max (FTTP). You haven't. You've ordered a G.Fast product. The eng only needs going to the cab. to move your connection there.
If you would like help with your BB speed or connection issues, please would you carry out the following steps for starters, which will enable us to diagnose the problem and advise you further. Do not restart your router to do these tests:
1. Post your full router stats:
Full router stats are key to any speed & connection issues.
2. Try a wired speedtest, using an Ethernet cable supplied with the router, here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.
3. What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
