Pairing of BT and EE devices

Can I pair my black BT complete wifi disk (from use with previous BT smart hub 2) with my new EE smart hub 6? I tried earlier by connecting then with a yellow ethernet cable, but it didn't seem to work.

@trudi_hermon : The black BT Complete WiFi discs don't work with the current EE Smart Hub Plus/Pro routers. It's only the white BT "High St." Whole Home discs that do.

The white discs work because they don't pair with the hub at all.

Instead the first white disc has to be connected to the hub with an ethernet cable. Then the other white discs pair with that and each other to form a mesh system.
