PPPOE Ont Credentials Not Working

I recently had EE Full Fibre installed (1.6Gbps) and wanted to use my own router connected directly to the Openreach ONT. I beleive this is done over PPPOE however when I use the bthomehub@btbroadband.com and the BT as a password I cant get it to connect at all. Tried with two routers so far and nothing.

Logged on to my EE hub to find out the password and its not displayed for security reasons!"

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The pwd can be "BT" but also try with blank.

@Akimbo  which routers are you trying to use, and what other settings do you have?

Have you seen the Help page: https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router

Thanks both,

I tried without a password and still no luck,

I am currnetly trying to connect mu ASUS RT-AX82U or my Netduma R3. Both of which wont connect.

I tried also to connect my PC directly to the ONT Lan port and setup a PPPOE connection direct and nothing.

Soon as i plug the ONT back into my EE Hub (which is awful BTW) connects no problem.

Settings ive been using are below:

Show us the WAN settings of 1 of your routers. There must be something else wrong.

Just guessing but have you VLAN ID = 101? If so, you don't need it as it's taken care of by modem.

@Akimbo  as it happens I have the DSL version of the Asus router you have.

Are you able to share the WAN - Internet Connection tab from your router?

Thanks @Akimbo  alas your images are a bit blurry for me, but I can't spot anything obvious from the bits I can see - other than you have no internet connection!
