I have full fibre broadband and poor WiFi, so I bought an TP-link Archer AXE75 router. I installed it OK but the Internet light is orange, and I cannot log in to the router as there is no connection. Reconnecting the original equipment works as before. Any ideas?

@Ashley120 you say you set up your router, but did you use the setting in the help link below.
And did you connect it directly to the ONT?
https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router
Connection type: | Point-to-Point Protocol over ethernet (PPPoE) |
---|---|
Broadband username or login name: | bthomehub@btbroadband.com |
Broadband password: | BT (or leave blank) |
Authentication: | CHAP |
DNS: | Auto or Obtain from ISP (we'll automatically provide these when you connect) |

You can always login to a router itself even when BB is down or even when there's not even a cable connecting the router to BB. From a device connected to it login to it at its IP, probably looking like 192.168.x.y, & using the username & pwd given on a label on it or a Start-up Guide.
