Openreach failed to install

ONT
Explorer

After waiting a month for my install, the engineer came and said it would need a site visit, ground works and then a further install. He suggested at least another three weeks. I took a day off work for this appointment and my current supplier contract runs out at the end of next month. So, I'm facing paying the 'standard rate' for at least a month. Can someone please contact me to suggest how to resolve this in a more satisfactory manner. Thank you.

@ONT You should and the service when it all start's compensation is paid so it will probably cover the extra higher payment that you have got to endure, if EE did not do all the start to finish, then if you have told VM you are going and cancelled there service they may or may not play ball with you, that's a call to them and it's a guestimate without a defined timeline for sure! The compensation link is below, go have the read and workout what you think in preparation of the EE discussion that will be further down the line!

@ONT  when you ordered online did you give EE any details of your current VM service?

If so it should kick in the One Touch Service where EE will cancel your VM service when EE goes live. Obviously if you did not give them any infor, then you will need to cancel VM when you are ready.

Do give CS a call though and get as much info as you can.
