Hi there, I have switched from Vodafone boardband to EE recently. Openreach guy has come to me this morning but the installation was unsuccessful. I don’t know what to do next, would anyone help ?

Did he say why? All you can do is call CS & ask what's happening & arrange a further OR visit to complete the installation.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.

@Kkcandy Openreach should report back the reason to why your Installation or the switchover to EE did not happen overnight, EE will reach out once they have that to reschedule any remedial work that needs done. Watch out for any Text or e-mail from EE and even possibly Openreach. Vodafone to EE normally would not require a Engineer visit just you swapping the hubs out/in.

He said something blocked the fibre to go thru, digging in my pavement may be needed. But I don’t know which parties should I reported to and how. Also I am worrying the old boardband will be terminated soon but the new not ready.

@Kkcandy Did you only use the OTS One Touch Switch service for EE to take your Broadband and have the FTTP FF Full Fibre connection installed, if so then Vodafone are supposed to keep your Broadband connection up and fully working until EE gives the all clear that you are fully installed and connected to them....
Thing's can go wrong in the process, it's all up to OR Openreach to now get the Fibre direct to your connection, and there civils team out to do that..... Not an instant fix as it all needs to be planned so do expect it now to be delayed.
You report NOTHING it's between OR/EE to sort it all out.

Out of interest, do you have a choice to use OTS or not & how would you know? Don't you just apply to an ISP to migrate/switch your BB to them & it's the ISP that uses the OTS process as per OFCOM's guidelines?
