Hi, my ONT and Router were placed in the kitchen BEHIND the tv and very near the windows, washing machine and dryer last year on installation. I just recently regraded to get 900mbps speeds with 700 guaranteed but i just cannot get over 150 anywhere in the house. I don’t really want to pay money for something that should never have been put ther ein the first place. What are the easiest options i would have guys?

Was not a responsible person present when the OR engineer installed the ONT and agreed its position? Now all you can do is to call CS and see if it can be moved.

@kylegaf2003 Longer Ethernet cable from the ONT to the Hub, and move the EE Hub out from behind the TV, that will also help get your wifi speed up somewhat. The further you get away from the Hub the lower the speed get's so do not expect to get the 700Mb/s minimum you quote all over the home, that may require you to have extender mesh units required.

@kylegaf2003 , just to add, just make sure that you get a longer lan Ethernet cable, RJ45 Cat 5 Ethernet cable to plug into the ONT and router, you can buy them from EBay for a few pounds depending on the length you need. I have done that, and it works perfectly, much simpler than getting the ONT moved.
