Gaming issue

We have just installed EE WiFi with the Smart 7 Plus router on the 900mbs package having difficulties connecting a gaming pc to it. (Every other device is running spot on) Tried using the WiFi and now using an Ethernet connections. It works fine for Google on the Ethernet, but online gaming is running extremely slowly to the point where it is not playable.. Are there any settings I should be  changing.. I have a very disgruntled teenager..🤭

@Big8allz : There are no settings on EE's SHs that would particularly assist gaming. Is all other Net use satisfactory?

IMHO I don't think this Gaming forum gets much visibility. If I were you I'd post in the BB forum. Its greater habitants might have better idea.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@Big8allz Ethernet connection is the best and greatest start so far, running slow you need to explain if you know what!

Speed test your PC Ethernet connected, NOT interested if you are going to do so as wireless wifi..... Post your linked result up on the Forum, here is one off the links below...... Link the result like you see below the test.

Make sure your PC is connected to the 1Gb/s Ethernet port on the EE Plus 7 hub and NOT in the 2.5Gb/s port also!

Also check your App settings there are a few that may restrict activity connection wise.

When you also say JUST installed is that today it was all done, did your hub even run all the FW updates and do a few disconnect's etc if you were watching it all at the start, data may just not flow fully out the system yet, that is all under EE's control.
